You lot pay attention!!
Okay now we all have read a thread or 2 about where Dream Zanarkand is or how certain individuals get there and if time travel is involved or if Yu Yevon wheres underpants.
Thats not what this is about, Im here to present questions about the linear style of a dream city and the causal factors of establishing a memory based existence extracted from multiple fayths.
Towards the end of the Machina war the summoners of Zanarkand decided to sacrifice there own lives in order to preserve the people they failed (there perspective they failed).
Here is where my questions/points come in, In making this Dream Zanarkand the Sommoners only had a finite well of memories to pull from, and the lifetimes of memories were no longer than those of humans in reality, at least 100 years of living memory.
Meaning, if they used the memories of the town people they could only extract there personal memories for there life time.
But Zanarkand was a Dream City summoned for 100 years
How did this come to be? after the war the dream City was in motion the memories of those lots people were free to live, work/play/grow and die, but but that was only one generation of people.
The memories could only take them back so far, when the 1st generation died off were they re-summoned? did they have families when they were allowed to live on and Dream Zanarkand became a generational city?
Were tidus and Jecht stuck on repeat
1000 years from a memory pool of 100 years, this never made sense to me.
So these are questions:
Is Dream Zanarkand repeated once the entirety of the1st generation dies out?
Are there descending parallels for families to exist? which begs the further question: whats the point of saving the made up families of the dead?
Did the summoners use the recorded History of Zanarkand to make up one thousand years to of Dream History for the Dream Zanarkand inhabitants?
Lotsa questions here and it may be tempting to pull a
job here but this has been on my mind for a while i had to pose the question.
