[FFX-2]100% ending

FFX-2 is pretty much the easiest FF game.
I've beaten it about 6 times and still only have 64%
what is with that? I've sorta gotten to the end but not the "real" end...I still get the end where the three guys give the speech and Yuna's like "I'm going home."
I think there's something about following the Youth League or Yevon to get 99 or 100%
Does anyone know anything about that? How to do that?

Also you do get % for following one or the other, then you will need to do new game + and follow the group you didnt follow first time round to boost your %. You nned to open every chest in every chapter and I think you also need to talk to everyone

Did you do the whistling thing in the Farplane? Even if you get 100% you won't get the 'good' ending if you haven't done that, there might be another factor but I can't remember it's been a while

It's possible to get 100% in one playthrough. You have to side with the Youth League plus do many other seemingly pointless things.

This guide mainly focuses on trying to get 100% in a single playthrough.

I tried to do it, but I missed out a few things, some by accident and others I just couldn't be bothered doing. I ended up with 96%.

I tried doing the whistling thing in the Farplane, but it never worked for me...
Can you explain how you did it?

Ahh it's been ages, but I think you have to do it 3 times whilst in the farplane (presing X) Im sure when you whistle, you har whistling in the distance, then you do it again, a total of 3 times

I really can't remember much though.....

To do the whistling in the farplane at the end of chapter 3, you have to (constantly) press "X" up to 4 times. You know when you're done when Tidus exits the farplane.

To get 100% in a single playthrough, you have to side with Youth League. Siding with New Yevon only yields up to 99% in a single playthrough.

I have never got 100% but I have the official bradygames guide. I only gotten' to 98/99% (forgot which one). Long story...

I've actually unlocked the 'Perfect' ending on one of my previous playthroughs at 95% for some reason, I did the whistling thing in Chapter 3 and at the end too to unlock the perfect ending, Weird huh?
