Am I the only one who thought that FFVIII's battle system made the game very easy. All you needed to do was get the magic you want and use it on one of your stats. The only bad thing about that is that if you use some of that magic your stats would go down. For me it's the easiest FF ever.

You've obviously never played FFX-2. This game was not easy, junctioning wasn't perfect, though it was good, you could not junction something just like that and have a perfect stat, because every so often, you would find more powerful magic, then you had a task of deciding where to put the new, stronger magic.

It was easy to get your strength up quickly and without any fuss and it did make the game a walk in the park. But then the fact that you had to draw magic to be able to use it gave it that edge of frustration. So it was easy to the fact that you could raise your characters to be strong even in earlier stages, but it also meant that you could also favourite a character too.

it wasn't all that hard I mean once you got the hang of it you'd be all set:)

I don't mean that, I meant in the sense that you had a tricky job of changing magic, because some magic gave you some status effect protections, while some gave you others, and to decide between them, was tough.

And why did you highlight my d?

well the game at first was hard because i didnt leave up much and the junctioning was confusing as hell but the second and third time through is way easy. so i can say it was ez after i understood everything

I agree that Junctioning was quite hard at first, I had no idea what to do and I found myself watching the tutorials through and through, but I still couldn't fully understand it. I normally skip the tutorials even if its my first play through because I like to figure it out on my own, but for this particular game I had to watch them.

So really, the start was hell for me, but when you finally get the hang of it, its simply a matter of drawing magic and Junctioning to make your party the strongest ever.

VIII was only easy if you played relaying on physical streangth. If you used magic a lot like I did then things become a lot harder because you are using up what makes you strong. So you have to choose whether to have your best stuff on your stats and use it while toping them up as much as possible or have only the lower level magic junctioned to your stats.

Being a mage on the game could be very difficult. Especially when it came to omega.

when I'm junctioning my magic to my characters I go to the auto and choose I think it was Attack and the magic automatically junctions it self and then if I need any specificmagic on there weapon or something I just change it if its not already there:)

FF8 was too easy, and too short for me.
Limit Break System: Sucks

the battle system was very easy and it did make the game easier to beat the only part that slowed me down a little was ultimecia

I know FF8 was too short and too easy and the limit break system was stupid but still it's a cool game.
