[FFVIII] marks ou tof ten for whole game

i would give this 10/10 because i just love the whole game

its amazin in the focus bits and all the music is cool got most of the ringtones on my phone they were free
 
Looking down the list of the "last post", I'm beginning to see a trend in thread topics ;)

As I said before, why not create a set of criteria, instead of mindlessly giving the game marks out of ten.
 
9.5/10 for me. Its my all time favourite game, i'll give it that much. But I think its short time to complete (without constant drawing) the graphics were brilliant for its time, the music score was undefinable, (brilliant, obviously) but i felt that the game was too short, making it lose some of its sheer magnificence... although, I think it runs a tight second to FF7. But in my opinion, 8 will always be the best FF game!
 
although this is an excellent game, and also the game that got me into the FF series, Im going to have to give it 8/10

gameplay, was pretty good, there were a few niggles here and there
ie, the junction system. I would like to kill whoever invented it

the usic as usual was perfect, everything you would expect form a fina fantasy game

storyline, was a bit weird but still something you could really get into, although im not really into the whole, evil sorceress from the future thing.
 
9/10. If the graphics were what they were now, I'd give it 10. Good story, good characters and great gameplay! :)
 
The Junction system was what put off most FF gamers. I hated how it was thought of badly because they just couldn't use it properly. I can't believe how they can bag a game because they couldn't survive on a system that required some level of intelligence and strategy to get used to. Sorry if that targets anyone here... But its how i feel on the Junction system. ^_^'
 
9/10 My second favorite FF behind FFX-2. The junction system was good and bad. Bad because you could abuse the hell out of it, you could have like 9999 HP at like maybe 10 hours in the game. Good thing was that is was just an awesome system, got to pick your stats and all the like.
 
The junction totally threw me off. Mind you, this was my first ever like major game that I had played (all other games were like Sega or Nintendo games like Sonic the Hedgehog, etc. lol) and when the tutorial popped up, I didn't know that reading it would be HELPFUL. Lol, so I got all the way to the third disk without doing any junctioning (and I only had the two GF's that are already junctioned to Squall) and then my brother pointed out my stupidity.

I was mad. lol

Yeah i did not understand why people thought the junction system was that bad. If anything it made the game shine:)

You could seriously think of new things to do with the system through out the whole game because of the variety of magic and the effects to the junction the magic had.

Id rate this game with a 9.5/10. I love this game a lot. The story line was/is awsome, the characters were/are fun to get to know, There were/are many interesting monsters, a whole lot of magic and this game just blew me away literally.
 
4 me 8/10 becuz the junction system was so confusing it would hve been 10/10 if the junction system wasnt that confusing

Overall for me 9.0
 
12!! It's my favourite FF, great gameplay, great characters exept for irvine and selphie, amazing story, amazing music, great replayability!
 
hey dont worry your not alone,, my first ever ff game was ff8 so.... what yah expect... for a novice.. my motto was "to kill every enemy" so.... my strength is so loW.. i just kept using GF throughout my first game of ff8.. until my old classmate so me how i fight a single monster:D then waLLah!! i started liking attack commands than just GF's hahaha, sometimes its better to know nothing about a game b4 playing it, and just play it. you'll feel different emotions, so for its gonna be 10.
