I am replaying the FFVIII again because I need to get better junctions and reexperience the game without leveling up but it is difficult considering that I enjoy Lionheart, Ultima and the Omega is always a t LV.100. Is there to gain AP without leveling up?

Yes! Fight cactuars! In Esthars kakashbald desert or the cactuar island! They give a VERY small amout of xp. but 20ap per cactuar!

I got the same question
I was thinking about doing a low level challange and thought to myself where would the AP come from. I know that you can draw magic from monsters then run but unless Card Mod takes away EXP and only lets you recieve AP then its all from bosses until you can get the Garden moble. So yeah try card mod it seems logical to me.
