FFVII on Radio1 alltime greatest games

So basically Radio1 and 1xtra have had a poll to find out the greatest computer game of all time.

I was going to post something about this earlier but i've been away this weekend, so if there's something already up i apologise!

So...Final Fantasy VII came 3rd on the poll. Which is pretty good I think considering the massive following of WoW and super mario and zelda!

(Only Final Fantasy VII was available for vote, out of all the FF titles)

5th = Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time
4th = World of Warcraft
3rd = Final Fantasy VII
2nd = Football Manager 2009
1st = Call of Duty 4

Does anyone think, (realistically), that this is a fair result for the game/series? Anyone else think of games that they would place higher?
 
I cant believe a football manager game got number 2 tbh, ive never seen such boring tripe in all my life -_-

I agree i cannot stand football manager games. I like football games but manager games are just a no for me.
COD are great so i cant complain about them having the number one spot even though i prefer FFVII. Ah well at least final fantasy got some acknowledgment.

I enjoyed Ocarina Of Time, i've never played WoW, Football Manager.. :ffs:,Call Of Duty isn't my kinda game but it's alright I suppose.
3rd is better than nothing I suppose, so I guess it's fair really. I just can't believe Football Manager beat it. :ffs:

Anyway, I think it's quite fair really, plus it's cross-genre from what I can tell, people seem to prefer action games more to strategy.

However, it would have been nice to see the other FF titles for voting, I personally think X could've got quite a decent place. :pikamon:
 
Having seen the top 50 I wouldn't have even put FFVII in that top 5.

1st. Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
5th. Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time
24th. BioShock
 35th. Super Mario 64
15th. Fallout III
