I say FFVIII is better...I got so lost in the story of this game...and the characters...I just love them( especially Ouisty, Laguna, Zell and Irvine). I choose FFVIII crew because they are cooler.

Yeah i love it too..

I voted VIII because they are tougher.

And i really think they are, people say Omnislash..? What about Lionheart? And you get Renzokuken before..clearly owns Omnislash. Zells limit can go on forever if your good at it..get like 15-20 hits in. I just think FFVII's characters are far too overrated. They would be nothing without Cloud..

Nippon Ichi characters can. Those guys could one-shot Ruby Weapon and Emerald Weapon. On topic, FF7 wins because Materia is so broken.

I'm going with the Final Fantasy VII team. Cait Sith and Aeris aren't much help, but Cloud, Vincent and Tifa should be enough to take care of the riff-raff from Final Fantasy VIII.
