FF7 vs FF8

i injoyed both but if i had to say witch was better it would be 7 cuz of the chars the krazy story line twist and the slight confusion about cloud sephiroth and zack.

Novels? I require more information on this subject. Never heard of FF Novels.

:hmmm:

Yea Cid is right, actually called "novellas".

Use this link, It will get you there. Trust me explains A BUNCH of why things happened in AC.

However you'll have to look in the Lifestream.net forums for Case of The Lifestream - Black/White(tells the story of what happened to Aerith and Sephiroth in the lifestream post FFVII).

Dunno if this has been solved or not, but... you can just get both and install whichever one you want to play at the time. I have them both and currently have FF8 installed since I'm playing it at the moment, but if I ever decided to switch to FF7 I can uninstall FF8 and install FF7 to play. The game data, I assume, remains ready for if you install the other game at another time.

I would definitely recommend FFVII.

It is the more Fantasy-like of the two and was more fun.

FFVII is alot more interesting to play, like FFXII is more interesting to play than FFXIII because XIII is more linear than XII. Like VIII is more linear than VII. VIII is more of an interactive romance story, where as VII is something very original.

For me, pick Final Fantasy VIII because it is simple and easy. The story is great and you can finish it within a week of playing. The sidequest is also fun and the interesting one is that it has 9 playable characters. correct me if i'm wrong.

But FFVII is not bad either but unlike FF VIII it is quite hard and the story is long but you will enjoy when u play it.

Thats all. Btw how can you convert psx games to psp.?

I prefer VIII for its graphics, presentation, and some of its gameplay, mostly its card and item refining system.

The story in VII is better, but the heavily dated graphics and sound make it less accessible. It's also much more difficult on average, too.
