Hey ive been plying FFVII since its download the other day
the background graphics are just the same as the PSX version on my computer. The characters are the same as well like, but i dont play it for the graphics anyway.
The copy is really good and glad my computer runs up to speed with the game
I'm currently onto the bit where Cloud falls throught the roof of the church and meets aries

I gotta play this. My stupid playstation emulator won't work though. It doesn't want to let me put the graphics plugin in.
why would you want a psx emulator when this download is the pc version?
Or are you talking about the psx version on the pc?

I've been trying to get my FFVII game to work in my computer but I can't get it to work. As far as playing it on the PC, I clicked the links you put on the first post but they say that the download has moved to a different location or it's timed out or something.

as for the PSX version on pc, i'd go to a place called emuforums (google it since i don't want to link against the rules) and look through the stuff there (just don't ask for isos/roms or the psx bios there)

yeah I've already been down that road and don't feel like messing with ROMs and stuff right now. The better resolutions for characters look really good but I probably would end up having to delete it anyway. My dad is so picky with his computer.
ok i downloaded the ultima edition but i have no idea how to patch these things on ! i tried doing the bigger and better models patch but when i tried to patch all i keep getting is the destination directory doesnt have any files to update but i did the lgptools thing to extract the char.lgp i dont get it please help someone why cant someone just a released a fully patched version im great at playing games but useless at computer i.t

Here here! They may look tacky in general but they'er good nonetheless. I have no problems with them either, quite nice really.
Is that the one that changes the characters? I've managed to get the spells renamed and a better Cloud on the World Map but not the Field or Battle screens.
DISCLAIMER: Not contridicting my previous post about blocky characters, I just wanna play it with the mods for a diffrent feel
