Now tell me. Do you think Crisis Core should have REAL TIME battles........or the battle system from FF7 on the PS1?

In my opinion, the game will still be good on the PSP, but if it was in the same style as the PS1 game, it'd be a classic. I think a sequel should stay true to the original. But thats just what i think

your turn

I'm happy for SE to be exploring new ways for the battle system. So far, the DMW looks pretty good to me. The idea of the reels and getting a Power Surge sounds like it could work well. The only thing I'm not sure about is how magic will work. I can see it being more of a liability than a help

i like the battle system shown in the trailer it looked pretty neat. OMG at the Genesis/Angeal/Sephiroth battle... that was freaking awesome.

I think it'd be better if they explored more new ways to make a battle system. Dont' get me wrong I love the ATB system in Most of the FFs but i think it's time to explore something new....

And hence where the DMW system comes in. So far to me, that sounds like a pretty spot on idea. Like I already said, the Power Surge and the reels have got me hooked on this game

im just happy to see a new ffvii game comin out. i guess we'll just have to wait and find out :P

i would like to see a battle system like the grandia series in the new Final Fantasy but updated to they are like jumping on stuff and running around the environment..that way people would like the ATB still can take there time with strategies while the action people can see there character moving around in the environment

The combat style should always change and never stagnate. The Final Fantasy series is an inovator as a whole and it should stick to that concept because it is what is setting it apart from the rest.

I hope they keep the Materia system in it. I wouldnt have said no to turn based battles either. But im sure the realtime battles will be just as good.
