That is the stupidest thing I have ever seen........

This just shows you how quickly people blame others for their problems.
If some kids go on a shooting rampage, the community always says they are "nice, upstanding citizens" , when actually they are aren't. People always come to the defense of those who are not adults yet. I bet that if they were 20 years old instead, they would be put in a psychiatric hospital.

Stuff like this is just sickening..........

So, this was good? I'm satisfied with the comments. The FFR only got like 5 replies to this, but with you guys, there'll be more comments than this.

Out of all the video games in the world, they are picking on FFVII. Maybe they should check some of the ones rated M. Geeze, they must not have ever played a Final Fantasy. :S That kid was gonna do it whether or not he played the game. It was his choice, not the games.

And I'm majorly emo because of unrequited love, and I've been thinking about permanately encasing my arm in gold metals and becoming a long-haired recluse. Oh yeah, and I believe I can harness elements from shiny balls and that I have the power to kill all kinds of fiends (like my neighbor). *Major, major eyeroll.*

Seriously, though. I've played my fair share of violent video games before, and they have NEVER given me the urge to kill people or whatever else. Most people can identify the difference between reality and fantasy, but these guys couldn't...so, naturally, it's FFVII's fault. -_-

Actually, it's not the same thing. Grand Theft Auto actually gives you bonus points for stealing cars, beating hookers, and killing cops. I wouldn't blame any video games on twisted people going out and hurting/killing people or animals, but the games are very different and it's easier to shift the blame to a game like Grand Theft Auto that glorifies stealing cars, fucking whores, and killing cops in a modern day real life setting. The most that any Final Fantasy game condones is riding giant chickens.
 
Bullshit doesn't describe what I am reading. people think video games are the source of all violence, not like there wasn't ever a murder or anything befor Pong was invented. These people need to look at Society and their Priorities and figure out that sometimes another persons doing is not to be blamed on that person or on his influences, sometimes we are to blame ourselves
