FF5 for DS

I haven't played FFV on the GBA at all since I played it already on the PS1 version in Anthology, but either way you go, I think the story outshines any capability of graphics anyday!

It's got the plot that starts off right from the start with the meteor crash and the meeting of Reina. I couldn't put the PS1 version down, and the graphics were hideous.
 
If IV does really well on the DS, V will probably be up for a remake.

But if IV DS is a flop we probably won't be seeing anymore Final Fantasy remakes for a long time.

NO! NO! NO! Do not incur the wrath of Square-Enix and give them the impression that we want MORE of their cruddy original games... They've already got FFXIII in three iterations, Kingdom Hearts 3 in 3-4 versions, a sequel for FFTactics, and a sequel for FFTactics Advanced on their way...

None of which I look forward to too much besides the tactics titles...

So, I invite Square-Enix to make as many remakes as they want... At least it's something they're somewhat good at...
 
I agree with Rydia, if the FFIV remake is successful, they'll remake FFV and possibly FFVI too, and then since they've run out of FFs to remake - they'd have to finally consider a FFVII remake.

The FFI II and III remakes have done well, so i see no reason why FFIV and V can't be remade well.

FFVI, on the other hand, is completly different - imagine the opera in 3D, it'll either be a disaster or the greatest DS FF moment.

The graphics will have to be well better than the DS's to do VI some justice, I'm thinking PSP at least or go full blown on the PS3....will never happen though. The cutesie graphics of the DS remakes so far look like they would be ok on V but I think I would cry if I ever saw VI the same aswell.
 
Yes you are right. Cute graphics work with FFV but not with bleak VI. If the colors are too brigth the mood in game breaks. Also VI might be too big on DS to handle anyway.

And oh when they have run out of DS remakes they make DS-remakes of FFI and II and then all I-VI to PS3. Then maybe Mystic Quest remake and then finally they start to consider whether or not to make FFVII remake.
 
To be honest, if they made FF I-IV for PS3 I would definately buy them. I would like to see what they would be like with next gen graphics
