FF XIV Key

Japanese magazine 'Jump' today released a message that Final Fantasy XIII(video game)'s limited package, which is going to be published on December 17th, contains a mysterious key of Final Fantasy XIV. The key is for sale promotion. Players guessed the key may be used in FFXIV to get rare item from FFXIII. However, informant said this is Final Fantasy XIV's beta test key.

Beta test key is not bad also.

Anyhow, there won't be a beta for FFXIV when buying FFXIII. I haven't had chance to fully read the news thread posted earlier but I think the key is just for the rare item or something like that. There'll be a beta of course, just not when buying FFXIII.

That's what Famitsu says. It won't be a beta test access (cue the disappointments), but rather just a rare, perhaps limited item in FFXIV. I also heard a rumour that you can get this also from the Final Fantasy XIII limited edition PS3.

Honestly I know this is a bit off topic but I would buy a FF PS3 because I have a 360. A little dissappointed that that's not going to happen. About the key though, if it was for a Beta then how would PS3 owners get the beta version of the game onto their ps3's? Maybe the key is for the PC only. However it's for a special item so I guess my pondering is useless here.
