Yes, yes it will. If you know nothing of the game, you won't understand a single thing in the movie. PLAY. THE. GAME. FIRST. you have too.
not nessarrily, you can watch the movie first, it would still be good, you just won't get anything except the fighting and the amazing animations, but yeah you should play the game first

You will be confused. I dont think it would ruin the game in general but you would probably uncover some of the events in FF7.

Yeah I recommend you play the game through first as well. It's something you won't regret in the logn run and while you watch the movie it will make more sense. However, if you just can't seem to scratch that itch, go watch the movie, play the game, then go watch the movie again.
On my copy of advent children it has extra where you can watch the a quick briefing of the game FF7. If you can not be bothered to play the game just watch this.

Well the movie won't be a spoiler for you. You just won't know the background of most of the characters and you won't know who or what is Jenova. So yeah go ahead and watch the movie before you play the game if you want.
well apart from the event which occurs at the end of disk one, i dont think much will be spoiled at all - except you might not understand the characters and the storyline
