Granite and obsidian are usually what I consider my favorties, but I also have a thing for marble. Not much of a fan of sedimentary rocks, though.

Stuff like that you know.

Now not so much. I've kind of have moved on from that genre and listen to indie rock or 90's rock.

I listen to mostly nickleback, three doors down, three days grace and hinder. I don't really listen to that much rock, unless it's on the radio, but otherwise I'm not full out into it

I'm mostly into the metal side of things, but For more typical rock bands though I'd say Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, old Queens Of The Stone Age ( i.e. when Nick was still a member ), Theory Of A Deadman, Incubus ( before Crow Left Of The Murder anyway ), Stereophonics, A, InMe and Coheed And Cambria.

Those are the main ones off the top of my head, still have quite a few emo, punk and what not bands that I wouldn't quite call rock.
