My all-time favorite band is Slayer. They have talent, aggression and two of the best metal albums in all existence (Reign In Blood and Seasons In The Abyss). They write not the most in-depth lyrical subjects but stil they give a good amount of great riffs that are guaranteed to make you headbang (Raining Blood, fools) as well as phenomenal drumming by Dave Lombardo. With him back, I look forward to Christ Illusion.

My other favorite bands:
Megadeth- Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman. Hell yeah.
Iron Maiden- Doesn't need any explanation.
Blondie- Completely unlike what I normally ike but I love their music.
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers- Damn the Torpedoes! is a legendary album.
Dio- With his own band and Sabbath is a genius.
 
Darn good stuff.

Fav band is Iron Maiden. The first band I ever got into and quite frankly the best.
Followed by Black Sabbath, Ozzy era mostly but I do love the Dio stuff too especially Heaven and Hell and I'm one of the small majority who loves the Dehumanizer album.
Then Megadeth, especially the thrashy 80's stuff. The 90's stuff is really good too but Risk and some of Cryptic Writings is abit dodgy
Metallica's early stuff, i.e the first three albums. I also enjoy ...And Justice for All and the Black Album but the first three are god-like. I don't care for much of their later work, especially St.Anger.
Plus Bruce Dickinson's solo work, especially the Accident of Birth album. Awesome stuff!

Dio's solo work ain't to bad. I've only got Holy Diver and Sacred Heart and I think they'er great albums. I'm gonna get Last In Line when I get the chance.
 
You both have really good tastes in music.

I like listening to Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica, Led Zeppelin...a lot of classic or metal bands. Then, I like listening to new stuff such as Angel & Airwaves, Blink-182, (Old) Green Day, Taking Back Sunday, Thursday...All those kinds of bands.

I have a huge mix of bands that I like but here's a few; Blink 182, Angels and Airwaves, The Starting Line, The Format, Taking Back Sunday, Nightwish, Nirvarna, Metallica, Queen, Hoobastank, Hawthorne Heights, Lost Prophets, Seal, My Chemical Romance...etc.
 
I will never understand how some people can listen to so many bands.

Hmm... All Punk and Punk Rock Bands. Taking Back Sunday, The Used, Lost Prophets, Rise Against, Green Day, From First to Last, AFI... there's tons more but to many to list.
 
Pink Floyd, Led Zepllin, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Queen, other classic rock, Adam and Andrew, Black Mages.
