not sure where this topic would belon but do you guys think the last final fantasy will be called fantasy final?

thanks for telling me where it should go but back to the topic me and my friend have thought about this for a long time we actually thought ff 10 would be the last game back when 8 came out because there was alot of talk about the fantasy final subject ont the ign boards.

As Rulia said, it'l just end on a number or something. Although it's more likely to be a sodding spin off seeing as they can knock them out pretty quick and rake it in

Clearly, you thought wrong. =] And the IGN boards (or any boards, for that matter) aren't exactly reliable when it comes to discussions about the ending of Final Fantasy. Who really knows when the game will completely end? As long as the fans continue to support the series, then I'd say that Final Fantasy will continue to live on for many years.

Or I could be wrong.

No they would not, Square Enix is better at marketing than that. And as for the lifespan of Final Fantasy...as long as there are graphics whores and FF7 fanboys, the series will never die.

Final Fantasy Finale sounds better. But no...I don't see the series ending any time soon...what could possibly stop the Square-Enix powerhouse from publishing one of the most popular RPG series franchises?
