Is anyone in your family famous/well-known in any way? And by that I don't exactly mean superstar status that everyone the whole world recognizes, but just famous within their respective regions.

I have two half-brothers are really famous in the Philippines, for example. :monster:

Last names are Zamora.

I also know a couple of people who are related to some famous historical figures/authors/musicians, etc. etc.

Umm..My uncle was on TV quite alot for his body building and his wife was won the female worlds strongest competition in the 90's 3-4 times

My dad is i think cuzions (mabie someother relation) to the labriani brother in london, but i guess they would only be know in and around london?

Uh, well I have a friend (went to high school with him and we were pretty close actually) who's a model in the Philippines and was supposed to appear in a few teleseryes, but I'm not sure what happened to that. I saw some pictures of him doing some walk on his friendster profiles...he isn't exactly popular there, per se, but it's something, I guess.

And my husband is related to President Nixon (very distantly). It starts through the Milhous and some other last name...I forgot now. I'll have to check with my dad-in-law since he has the records. I know it's in my husband's dad's side of the family though. I remember seeing the book and the family tree since his grandma showed it to me, who was actually an actress back in the 1940s I believe. She was in a bunch of newspaper articles and did some broadway shows too. Still living to this day although I haven't seen her in over 3 years since we all kinda parted...um, awkwardly, I guess. We lived with her for like 8 months before we went to Ohio.

Her husband (my husband's grandfather) was pretty well-known back in the days too. He appeared in TV a few times for news debates, etc. A very talented doctor and wrote a few books that were published. He was also one of the first doctors to help pioneer chiropractics in general, and was also a World War II veteran. I read some of his history that was written by his wife through personal journals and newspaper articles and he's a very good man who inspired a lot of people. Sadly, I never got to meet this great man since he passed away 4-5 years before my husband and I started dating.

Yeah, me. :proud:

Seriously though, I have some minor notoriety in the area I live in since I'm heavily invested in high school athletics. It's ... interesting.

I have an aunt by marriage who is a professional golfer on the LPGA tour.

I think that's about it, tbh.
