So... Why is Aries alive in Kingdom Hearts?
I looked it up and came across a rather funny story. Here it goes.

Aries was in a certain version of FF7. When they found several glitches and grammer mistakes and stuff like that they released a later version of FF7 that was fixed up and included Arieth. (It might have been the other way. I don't know which version of FF7 I have so I can't really confirm it.) Anyways... Arieth was Aries brother. Yes. Brother. Not sister. You see, Arieth is a cross dressing man. Arieth was the one who got stabbed by Sephiroth. Apparently Aries went off some where. So Cloud got all sad thinking this man was Aries. He became all mopey for the rest of the game and yadda yadda. You all know the story. Now... He was reuinited with Aries. That's when he learned that Arieth was a man and that he fell in love with and cried over a man. That's the real reason why Cloud is all emo like in Kingdom Hearts and Aries is alive.

Weird huh? I like that story. It's so funny. So I've come to accept it as the reason.

It is aerith/aeris not arieth/aries. Do you have the link or source to the rather crazy theory? Is it official? Anyways, I am sure you know that aeris was a mistranslation from the Japanese version of the game. So her supposedly official name is aerith. Look it up if you don't know. And also the fact that pretty much anything can happen in kh since it's a completely different alternate universe.

You can't rely on kingdon hearts as accurate portrayals of characters from FF anyway.

The term Aries is from mythology as well as astrology and has nothing to do with FF anyway.
Since I was born in March I am an Aries according to astrology.

Well, it's funny, I'll give it that
But, yeah, KH is a completely different series (AU with a bunch of characters crossing over). In KH logic, having Aerith alive is completely normal. In FFVII she's kicked the bucket for good. Meh, anything goes in KH, I suppose.

It wasn't unveiled as mistranslation until Advent children (as I am aware) which is why she is then called Aerith in Kingdom Hearts. Your story makes no sense. Just seems like a way to bash the character from my view. Not saying you are bashing the character but the person who you heard the story from. D:
