Erythritol's Art Thread

Hahaha, thanks for the comments everyone! Yeah, I realized from the picture I took of the Poison Ivy painting, her neck looks kind of long. I think it's because it cut off her shoulders. And I wanted to try to make her look kind of cute but still evil.

I painted this last night when I was feeling shitty about life. It made me feel better XD I didn't have any references...which is sometimes bad, because I somehow (I don't know WHY) make the person look kind of like me. She's supposed to be Asian. ...Instead, I think she looks like an eskimo. x_X Oops.

As always, comments/whatever are more than welcome :monster:

First off: sorry for the double post.

I come bringing animu and Japanese ghosts :gasp:

Yotsuya Kaidan (Yotsuya Ghost). She was given poison by her husband that, instead of killing her, deformed her. When she saw her reflection, she died from the grief of her husband's betrayal and from shock at her disfigurement. Her grave is located near my school. :monster:

Next we have Kuchisake-Onna (The Slit mouthed woman). She was accused of cheating by her lover, and as punishment, he slit her mouth from ear to ear, telling her that no one would ever find her beautiful again. She still roams Japan's streets on foggy nights, asking people if they find her beautiful, and then stabbing them to death.

And finally, we have some lame animu. I was bored and did this in about fifteen minutes because I haven't drawn/painted it in forever xp

Very nice work Eryth.

Yotsua Kaidan looks absolutely horrible, so, you did a very nice job :elmo:

Kuchisake Onna looks very nice. I still find her rather attractive, but it looks like she has a very big smile XD

Lame animu r nu lame :gasp: She looks very nice, except, IMO, her lips are a wee but large, but she is very hawt :P

Oooh wow. They all look great as ever Eryth! Although I especially like the middle one, the touch of colour in it looks really nice, and the shading on her face and hair aswell. I'm jealous of people who can draw/paint hair well. :gasp: Nice work! :monster:

Those are amazing Ery, I especially like the second one, the colour and shading is brilliant. I love the detail on the head peice!

I love the eys on the last one, it looks so pretty

I really really really love how you did this one. Very creative and her eyes are just perfect! It almost looks glossy real and I know that's kinda hard to achieve. Her lips are done really well and brings about that evilness in her. xD Really awesome!

Ahhh! Thank you everyone for the nice comments ^_^

I have a weird obsession with Kuchisake Onna, so I really liked painting her. XP She's probably one of the creepiest ghost stories I've ever heard. I love how she's beautiful but also horrifying at the same time...

Ah, I really like the cut-face ghost lady. Heh. yeah she has a name.

Anyway nice work. I still love your break a tank picture. I think the only thing you really have to be careful of in your realistic portraits is to watch your proportions. In a few of them, they seem to be a bit off. Perhaps you draw the eyes too big (which I know works for anime). Hm.

Something I've been working on....I painted the face a while ago and put it down for some reason. I think I didn't like how it was turning out. Anyway, I picked it up again and finished it today. The look is based on ancient Chinese style. At least the hairstyle is. The hair ornaments....I just made up whatever I thought was cool looking. Oh yeah, it's watercolor.

Bad quality photo too x_x Sorry. I don't exactly have a scanner here. Anyway, comments or whatever are always welcome :monster:

osh gosh mahosh Eryth, I love it!!

The detail in the hair ornament are so detailed, very good job on them, and the eyes, so excellently done, bravo!
