Well to be more accurate I'd seen the first four at various points, but I sat down with the siblings on the 27th and we watched five in a row. They were pretty good for the most part I thought. I wasn't sure about Gambon as Dumbledore but he really sold it to me when he walks into the ministry and scolds Voldemort, "You shouldn't have come here tonight Tom"

they're not great films, especially the early ones. i think it was a good idea, but not something that really works when going from paper to screen, sadly. they all needed a lot more to them, and they're already two and a half hours each more or less. for the most part, they got better as they went on. half-blood prince is quite good, but i was disappointed with both deathly hallows films.

the first couple were terrible, but that's child acting for you. the last one was an utter let down. i "properly" read the first 3 books and skimmed the goblet of fire, tearing out about half the pages to mop up the blood coming from my ears (that happens a lot when im bored).

tbh i found it hilarious :wacky:

That doesn't surprise me. Like at all. :wacky:

The 4th and 5th books drag a bit. Half-Blood Prince is my favorite of the series though. I still have yet to see the Half-Blood Prince or either of the Deathly Hallows movies. Probably should for completion's sake.

Or just for the sake of 3 awesome movies... :/

...

Just finish the damn series
