Oh man, I miss Ehrgeiz a lot! My sister put a deep scratch in it for some unexplained reason, she has destroyed a lot of my video games for petty, shallow reasons, if it weren't for her, I'd have a helluva lot more video games, but anyway, Ehrgeiz is the best Ps1 fighter there is. (That's right, I just said that.)

Ah! seems like i need to make it more clear :P I like the fact that cloud and Tifa are in it because i can make Cloud BEAT UP tifa XD

its like the perfect game!
How dare you. :P

I haven't played it in a long time, and I don't know where I stashed it.
I gotta look for it, the thread's makin' me feel like playin' it again.

Do you know where the other characters are from though, like Godhand and Sasuke and Django?

EDIT:

That royally sucks, dude.
You could try getting it off ebay, I doubt it'll cost much.
And Ehrgeiz is cool, yeah, but I wouldn't say it's the best. :P

Oh yeah, adding to my above question, has anyone performed the Omnislash in it?

Yes, they are in it... So is Vincent as his normal FFVII costume, and as a Turk.

And that can't be Red XIII's father, remember he had a name; Seto.

EDIT: Arg, Im always late. Maybe I should start poting as soon as aIm done typing.

My dog ate my copy of this game. I didn't really like it at first but it kinda grew on me. I did like the dungeon portion I just hated that the beginning started w/ Japanese talk, twas annoying.

Anyway I think Ehergiez was an anime or something like that. Can't really remember where i read this from though.

Heh, good luck trying to find it for less than $25 USD (including shipping/handling). I was VERY lucky to find one for about $23 USD. I have seen prices on there ranging from $30 USD to over $125 USD (no joke, these people want the game that badly).

EDIT: I finally got my copy in the mail. ^_^ ...and I forgot just how much of a pain Yoko is (the one with the yoyo).

Yes, I have. But you wouldn't even know it was Omnislash unless someone told you. Theres no hype in it like the Meteorain move. And it doesn't hit that much as it did in the game. I prefer Meteorain.

How do you do Omni-Slash in that game anyway. I heard that it's just Cloud Glowing Red while slashin peeps up like 15x in a row.

Lol i admit that i only bought this game because it had FFVII characters on it. I dont realy like playing it by myself, though 2 player is quite fun.The thing is i dislike all the Non FFVII characters they al just fail in comparisson to the mighty FFVII cast,i think some are from that poor Squaresoft Tobal No.1 game.Personally id rather just have a full FF cast in the game. Also an idea for a Square-Enix game a party game with all the FF characters or something like Super Mash Bros for the Nin.

Does anyone really enjoy the RPG on this game i had a good go at it but i just found it really boring.but back to the figher part of it am i the only one here amazed by the graphics of the game, for a PS1 game i think i really pushes it to the limit (like FFIX)

Overall i enjoy it for the FFVII charactersits an enjoyable game, buts its just no Tekken 3

The fighting system was actually rather indepth so mediocre dosn't cut it as a description. Problem was there was very little training material to point that out to you. The mini games were very entertaining and my friend and I laughed to death playing the flag race. It is dated though.

I played this alot on the PSone. What i never understood thou is you beat the dog boss at the end, and the credits start rolling while the dog gives u a kicking. Did anyone else have any sort of Ending to any character?

I don't think so. Although it's been a while since I played it, so I could be wrong.

Wait a second, thinking about it, I actually think you can fight back, while the credits are rolling, maybe you just didn't notice it, but I'm sure you can fight back. And thinking about it further, I also think there was another ending mini game about breaking spheres, or something. I can't remember.

I got it for 10$ At gamestop/EB games.

I win.

You still get to fight while the credits are rolling. What you are supposed to do is break open the two crates and throw the swords at him. Any other attack you try to pulverize him with is ineffective. Then collect the coins and Han's leg (wtf?) in order to get the Ehrgeiz sword. If you play as Han when you get his leg, you get his alternate ending, too.
