Nintendo DS original, lite, or DSI?

Hmm...
I would say DSi because of the downloads and stuff
but the region locking is really bad for impatient little me who can't wait for the snail pace EU releases u.u
I had the original DS but it broke after two years of hard playing... so my dad bought me a Lite for my birthday which has stuck it out a lot longer
So even though I love retro games, I do prefer the new DSs, the DSi or Lite. Original breaks too easily

The DSi seems pointless to me as when i want to listen to music I would use a MP3/I-Pod/Revolution for DS and so on. for Pictures I would use a camera. so for me the NDS/DSlite is better. If your not ever going to use the GBA slot for anything (Guitar Hero/Pokémon/other GBA games) then get a DSi. I won't uprgrade to the DSi as it seems like a waste of money to me and I would rather get a PSP with my money so I can play Final Fantasy VII.
Althought i have only used the DS and DS lite, i must say that the DS lite is my porsonal favorite, yes i haven't used the DSI, but the fact of a handheld games console with a built in camera just seems like a waste for me, i mean yea i have a fone wit a built in camera, but that is because i take my fone everywhere, nobody i know actually carries around a hand held console with them at all times, so there is no reason to have a handheld with a camera
The only game I can think of that can make use of the camera would be a remake/port of Final Fnatasy VII: Before Crisis, as it uses the camera to create materia.
I currently own a DS Lite and am more than happy with it, I'm not really one of those people that care what added functionality my console has since it's always about the games in the end for me. Also the Lite has both a DS and GBA slot which will suit me better since I do have a large amount of GBA games already. It's just better for me personally.
