Do you win or lose?

Well sometimes when I battle a boss and usually when I bring Vincent :vincent: it usually ends up in him being the only person there but I can't do anything cus well his Limit Breaks can't really be controlled but I still win?

Has this ever happened to you? If so do you win or Lose?

I end up having the limit that cures my boss fights and yeah I lose. They could have made him with limit breaks that were worth it but instead we get fire based and a death attack. Damn it.
 
If it's a boss, you can guarantee my other 2 guys will die and Vincent will just be there...attacking....and Il just sit and watch knowing he's about to snuff it

So yeah, I die everytime -__-
 
I'm sure I entered into boss fights without realising, and then I'm like. Oh. Like Rikku, the other two die and I'm watching Vincent meander on, waiting for him to die. sometimes i think i just resetted straight away. Stupid Limit.

OR I'm fighting away and vincent keeps healing the boss! I'm trying to tank him with the other two, but there's Vincent healing him like a moron!
 
Wow sounds like you guys get unlucky with that, normally when I get in that situation I tend to win most of the time. But I guess its luck cause he can heal the boss and just sit there and fail or he can end up winning it.

Wow that is bad I remember before when I was battling this dragon-like thing that had 2 heads one was ice the other fire but Vincent had ice absorb but since it was a 1-man show >_> every time the other attacked he healed but eventually it died XD:ryan:
 
His limit break's can be useful some of time because of the stat increase ect. But if he's the last guy standing in a fight and he's transformed it's a matter of luck i guess. I seem to lose alot in a situation like that.
 
I usually win when this happens,but it doesn't happen often,which is weird since I always use Vincent in my main party. I have had it where he would do nothing but heal the boss since it was the wrong Limit. ;( I lost that one.
 
this occur for me before and i think i probably win half of it and win half of it. when this does happen, the boss ususally almost dead so vincent would be able to finish the boss off. but then theres the time where is limit heals the boss so then i would lose
 
When this happens I usually tend to lose, But it's only happened a few times. Still stinks cause you're like "Oh great..well... I'll go grab a sandwhich and see if he's dead when I come back."
 
when it happens to me i usually win it.and with the bosses that he'd heal with his breaks i just switch him to a magic caster have one of the others switch to a regular attack and go from there
 
I've been through the game so many times that I figured out the strategies on every boss I will never lose once until I have to come to Diamond and Ruby weapon. With Diamond I use the Lucky 7's technique and then mutilple knights of the round. For that fight it just depends on luck if Diamond gets a hit in between the knights of the rounds spam fest. Vincent I tend not to use his limits on a boss at all. Just cause of that possibility plus he can heal some bosses in Death Gigas form with that fire attack.
 
Its annoying if your other characters fall and you cant actually revive them cuz vincents in his overdrive mode >< If its a hard boss it would usually result in a game over screen. Normal enemies arent so bad though as i can either a) kill them before they kill me or b) escape using the shoulder buttons.
 
When I first used Vincent during a boss fight all he did was heal him. And just like all of you he was the last person left for me. I believe it was the Materia Keeper that I was fighting. And after that I never used Vincent in anymore fights.
