Do you save Shadow or let him die?

His dog came in handy so much, dealing a load of damage, and he was so damn awesome in general. I so totally saved him in FFVI on the PS1, and I'll be doing it soon on the GBA.

Haha yes, Shadow is male.

Anywho, I usually saved him because I liked him. But then again, I like the stoic characters usually. XD

Of course I saved Shadow. Indeed, he was one of the characters I had in my party most often, both for usefulness and the whole badass factor.

And, of course, 1 Shadow beats 100 Pirates. ;D

I always save Shadow, because I find him invaluable in the final boss fights.

And, the first time I saved him it was purely by luck, as I wanted to see what would happen if you stayed on the floating continent till time ran out xD

My very first run through I let him die... then the second time I waited to see what would happen... stupid timer stops in the nick of time and Shadow arrives unscathed... >_<

On the original version, I didn't really care for Shadow since I had Cyan.

But getting FFA 6, Shadow was an invaluable member.

I completely forgot about Shadow until I realized much later that he literally wanted me to wait for him. I almost broke my SNES controller when the realization of what I had just done dawned on me.

I saved Shadow, but then he has to go and commit suicide at the end of the game anyways

Oh, there was rumours about that. Some people say that he didn't actually commit suicide. I've never completed VI for myself, so I cannot really add much more on that.

I never realised there was much of a choice to the actual outcome of the game and I ended up taking the risky decision, only to find out that he actually dies afterwards. Woops. xD

Dose Shadow's dog Interceptor act different the rest of the game, or what even happens to him if Shadow dies?
