So what do you think? Personally, I think that there is an afterlife; it is my belief that we go to heaven or something equivalent to it when we die. You?

I don't know whether an afterlife exists. Therefore, I do not believe in it, since I don't believe in things that I don't know exist. I'm most likely going to simply disappear after I die; there's no reason to believe my consciousness can exist without its physical facilities. It makes sense to me, but without evidence, I conclude that I don't know. However, that's probably what I'd like to happen, since I don't want to exist forever.
 
I honestly do not know. I do not believe there is an afterlife, but I do not know if there is NO life, after life. I'm one of these people who allow my brain to do my thinking, not my heart. Here, my brain does not know, and my heart WANTS there to be an afterlife. Whether or not it shall receive what it wants will be a big suprise.
 
I don't know and the knowlegde wouldnt really effect me either way. A person has to live their lives according to their principles. Their own principles regardless of those set down by a religon to gain entrance to the afterlife.

There is no proof really either way we still know so little about our universe, and that question should be filed under one of those questions that will never be proved or disproved in our lifetime, or ever by human beings, merely speculated on.

This why I am agnostic neither denying or believing in the existence of an afterlife or an ultimate being. It wouldn't really matter to me either way I live my life by my principles and no one elses.

Although I like to hope a benevolent after life exists the idea of oblivion scares the tar out of me more than the idea of eternal dammnation.
 
Isn't "maybe it exists" and "i don't know" technically the same choice?

I would like to think that there is such thing, but I'm not sure if there is. I'm not religeous so I don't believe in heaven or the such, but I believe in ghosts and such so I do believe that there has to be something. Don't much like the idea of there not being anything after life so I would much prefere to believe that there is actually something.
 
I'm one of those people that would like to believe that death isn't just the end, that there is something bigger for me after I 'pass'. But how do I know that something such as that really exists? I don't really know. I'll guess I'll just have to find out when the time comes... :)

anyway,let's enjoy uor life as we still can and we'll see it when we die.
 
I beleive that our body dies in the world, our spirit is still alive and goes to heaven, then, we go were God is, he says where we go... to heaven (still live) or to hell (die there). :O
 
Im muslim so I believe that you either go to heaven or hell, if youve got more sins than good deeds than you go to hell but if more good deeds than sins then it's heaven for you. There are some exeptions and complication but this is my basic belief.

sumtimes i think there is a afterlife but sometimes i think: or is there a afterlife? maeby god is just a joke. and jesus christ havent ever been alive...

Well I would like 2 think there is summit after this....preferably summit better if im gonna spend eternity there...but i really dnt kno...im not religious so whether its heaven, hell, reincarnation or being a ghost...jst hopefully not nothingness....actually id quite like 2 b a ghost...i have a few ppl tht id like 2 haunt....
 
I believe that when we shuffle off our mortal coils we come back and we keep comming back till we're done learning and helping those around us in one shape or form
 
Haha I had my Religious Studies exams today and this was a question I believe xD.

Honestly, I do not know as I haven't died [duh xP]. And I don't think I'll be able to tell you once I've carked it either :P. There are many opinions on this that contradict eachother and I'm caught in the middle. One can argue that there is life after death, due to belief in reincarnation [one being born into another body once they've died], resurrection [the Bible refers to Jesus rising back from the dead] and ghosts. Some think that life on earth isn't all what we have and that there is an afterlife.
Others do not believe in at all as they do not believe in the bible [some think it's nothing more than a biased book filled with fictional stories] or anything else like ghosts, resurrection..etc.
I favour believing in immortality of the soul - the soul lives on for all of eternity after the body dies. So I kind of do and kind of don't :P.
 
I'm sitting on the fence an picking the 'maybe' option. I'd like to think there's something else for me after I snuff it, but until I do there's no way of knowing.

What the hell do u mean by if we get more good deeds that bad we go to hell ??
