It's just a moral panic. omg dey made a bad game.
There are countless porno flicks or even movies in general which are far worse.

Agree. I mean, dont play it then. Like the girl in the video said, there are shooting games where you are killing people again and again, but no one kicks up a fuss over that. Yeah, its disturbing that these games excist, but so do some terrible films and also porn movies as Bjork mentioned.

Wont stop me watching hentai like Legend of the Overfiend or anything. Hentai is popular world wide, so if someone wants to play these games, let them. Up to the individual how they behave. I watched violent films from a young age and had no desire to inject heroine or slice an ear off.

This is the kind of thing that news stations grab when they have nothing better to bitch about.

all kinds of rape hentai have been around longer than most of you (and even I) have lived. So someone visisted Japan this week and found a rape game... onoes! This is a very serious problem.

I believe a few years back there was a game called Sexy Beach 3 or something that was a really big hit with hentai nerds. Wheres the crying about fake cyber women (of their choice) pleasuring themselves and shoving bananas up their ass?

I don't think I saw one underage-looking character that was being harassed in any of those clips, either.

Well just remember stepping into Japan and saying Hello is like Rape Anyway for these games yes they are sick but like I said in Japan sex is like saying hell or making a footstep xD. Sure rape games are not fun but other games where you could whip a girl naked with a chain and shove it up her ass and make it come out of her mouth.... I wont say anymore.... So yes there are worse things. A little girl getting raped is also popular and remeber guys do it because they have nohing better to do...

Gamers love to say that violent video games don't make violent people. But stuff like this is the real test--if it's the case that video games don't encourage players to emulate the actions they perform in a virtual world, why is it so disturbing for a game like this to exist? It's not like the players are going to become rapists in real life, right?

Some people are overly-influenced by morally ambiguous games, but I'm pretty sure that most of us aren't. I love the Grand Theft Auto series, but never once have I had a sudden urge to re-enact any of the things I've done in that game. And is raping really that much worse than killing dozens or hundreds of people?

I agree that the game seems sick, and I'd never play it, but I don't think that means that no one should be allowed to (unless, of course, there is evidence that many people are using games like these as training sessions before they go hunting down some young girls on a subway). And from skimming the article it sounds like they stopped selling this game in stores, so some action has been taken here.
