This game is positively beautiful! ^^ I am surprisingly pleased with it I expected it to suck big time but they didn't disappoint on this one.

Hahahahah, good grief, I'm not sure if it's spectacular or questionable that people have already completed a game that was only released within the last 24 hours. Thanks for the video and the use of spoiler tags, though.

I think it may be possible to just run the CD and somehow take the ending video out from the game.

Anyways, not much to say. I have no idea what the heck they were all saying, but the way the music cuts in at the end was pretty epic

I gotta say, I love the Clourith ending. I wonder why SE chose Aerith and not Tifa?? Hmmm.....

it's soooo weird that people ALREADY beat the game at least once...

A quick translation of the scene.

Tidus : Is this a goodbye? It will be fine, the crystal will guide us from now on. Besides, Im here.
Zidane : Im not dissapearing, Im returning (going back) to the promised place.
Squall : It might be nice if we could accomplish another mission together again.
Cloud : Hmph, Im not interested.
Terra : From now on, I will be able to try my best again. That's why Im saying goodbye.
Bartz Klauser : Why does enjoyable times dissapear so quickly?

The crazy thing is.. The vid on Gametrailers was posted in December 17th... So in the very first hours of the game being released if anything! So yeah, probably a rip of the video file.

I've managed to get hold of some songs from the soundtrack from someone who ripped the music files like this.

Cali, everyone being in a field of flowers does not a 'Cloud and Aerith' ending make. Flowers are just a symbol of FF7, same as the shell is a symbol of FF6, even though it doesn't have much relevance to Tina at all

Personally, I like Light's walk towards Corneria. Is his story over, or is it just beginning?

That's true, if everyone sits in a field of ordinary flowers it doesn't mean it's a Cloud and Aerith ending.

But Cloud sitting alone in a field of Aerith's white and yellow lilies holding a piece of materia that oddly looks like Aerith's Holy materia does make it seem like it's a Clourith ending.
And the flower field of white and yellow lilies only appears when Cloud is on screen. It doesn't show up with all eleven characters. Then as soon as Cloud leaves the field is gone.

Why did you only comment to me about my Clourith post? I'm not the only one that thinks it's very Clourith ya know. I feel like I was singled out over the other....

What shell are you talking about? I don't remember any shell in FFVI.

And I wasn't trying to start an LT, just saying that this ending had no bearing on it. Also, more than Holy is green.

And Onion Knight is simply Onion Knight. He is not Luneth. Luneth can become an Onion Knight in FFIIIDS, but the character in Dissidia is referred to specifically as just 'Onion Knight', just as 'Warrior of Light' is just that.

He also doesn't look much like Luneth at all, either. If any of the four new heroes from FF3DS, I'd say he resembled Arc the most.

And his profile describes the original FFIII version of events, not the FFIIIDS version.

Yeah and you know exactly what you said could set a certain person off. You really need to learn to keep your mouth shut when it comes to particular things because sometimes the way you come off in your posts is condescending and rude. I have also received complaints and I ask for it to stop.

I also asked for it to no longer be discussed, and I'm sure you're smart enough to realize what you said would certainly spark a debate which I'd rather avoid in a thread like this. And I asked for spoiler tags to be used because people may not realize this IS a thread that shows and discusses the actual ending and may think it's just a thread discussing what you think may happen during the ending.

I think it should be interesting to see the ending since Dissidia isn't canon to any FF games since it's a massive cross-over, so there can be changes. How the character's are interpreted to be in this game should be fun to watch ^^

Like we know at the end of FFVIII, Squall's went soft and smiles all purty like, but from the trailers I've seen, he seems like his cold hard ass self like he was in the beginning O.O

Actually fusionist, all the heroes are plucked from some point in their own timelines. Squall could be from before he got smile-y. Possibly during his own ending. Ulti apparently knows who he is in the beginning of the game.

And Juliet, Cali said something wrong. I corrected her on it. Her reaction is entirely her own problem. I said nothing to her in my initial reply that a reasonable person would consider inflammatory or provocative.
I would appreciate if these people complaining to you would actually take the time to ask me instead. That way I can know who has thin skin and who I must walk on eggshells around.

Also, I understand where you're coming from regarding spoilers, but it's a thread about the ending, with a link to it in the first post.
Would it not be more efficient to place a spoiler tag in the title line?

Well, I knew each characters were plucked from their own universes, but it didn't seem likely to me that it's the same exact universe we know them from.

But I'm just making assumptions based on what they're wearing being different from the original context >__<

I still fail to see how the mere presence of flowers... Bah.
Let us take it elsewhere. I still say none of the ending is supposed to be romantic in any way, else they would have seen fit to give Cecil a nod to Rosa.
Though I think if I am not allowed to say it isn't, you also shouldn't be allowed to say it is. Fair is fair after all.

And BTW, that Materia is way, way to big to be Holy, which was more the size of a pebble. That's more like the Black Materia, there.

Just you. I think he looks even more like Meg Ryan than he did in 10.
And Cloud's line to Squall is definitely an in joke about KH2.
