Help disc question

what marks the beginning of disc 2 and disc 3? i'm playing the PS3 download version so i have no clue

It tells you to change to the next disc, then you just press the PS button and change it.

marks the end of disk 1 and disk 2 ends after

the party raids Midgar and then goes to the Northern Crater to fight Sephiroth

After Cloud lowers Aeris in the water. Disk 2 starts when you are outside the house and Cloud knows which way Sephiroth went. Disk 3 begins right when you get to go down to the northern crater. It is the shortest disk but yeah it just holds the end and all side quests you haven't done.

It always asked me to change disc even on the downloaded version and that's how I could tell that the next disc was beginning.
