Edinburgh during the fringe. It blew my head off tbh. I never realsied how good solo bass was til i seen him. Also saw a young lad maybe our age playing classical fingerstyle. It was modernised though and he mixed in flamenco with it too. I just sat there really jealous =_=

I think youd really like it. Its actually thinner than the freshman but its longer. Very low action so im really liking it for fingerstyle. Doesnt have the sound of the cpx but thats obvious as the compass is a jumbo. It sounds far better though than the freshman and sounds great when plugged in. I also got it in a lovely colour too.
The tuner and electronics built in uses AA batteries aswell which is very convenient. Along with better pickups the change from a 9v battery to double AAs was an improvement they added to the model 2. Youl have to come down for a jam.
 
Yup. Had a long chat with the ginger guy from fubar. He threw me in a snark tuner and bundled it up with the guitar and a few picks and elixirs for a bit of a deal as the apx doesnt come with a bag. Real nice guy him.
