Different games

Today i was thinking about the characters of the series and thought: "What if some characters like Zidane were in a different game in the series." I thought about Zidane being in X and it would of made it enjoyable. Squall in VII would make it a good game. (my opinion)Cecil in IX would just be weird aswell. What do you think though?

Like would the character replace the other main characters or would they both be in the game? I don't see Squall and Cloud working together at all.

I meant instead of cloud have squall so it would be a Squall, Aerith and Tifa love triangle

Squall in ffxii instead of vaan would have probably made the game better in terms of characters. They are both orphans but at least squall's personality is less boring.

Vivi in FFx instead of kimahri would have been interesting since the atmosphere in the game is already so depressing.

I would LOVE to see Kefka in FFXII, as Vayne Solidor's Court Mage...or another Judge. The hilarity that would ensue from that...just imaginging the conversations makes me giggle. As awesome as Vayne was, Kefka would totally upstage him - put the world into HIS hands, and see what happens then. It'd save us from the rather anticlimactic finish that was the Undying, and Kefka is always good for a laugh anyway. With his attire, he wouldn't be TOTALLY out of place in FFXII, either...as a jester.

I also think Ultros should be put into FFXII as a mark, like Gilgamesh was, fully voice-acted and with quips of his own, saying stuff like "Well, excuuuse me, Princess!" to Ashe, eyeing up Penelo, screaming "Seafood soup is not on the menu!" if you use a fire spell on him during the battle, etc etc.

I'd also like to put Lightning in FFVII and Cloud in FFXIII. Because I'd love to see if anyone actually spotted the difference beyond a "hold on...when did Cloud sprout tits and dye his hair pink?" before the matter was dismissed.

Putting Auron in FFVIII as a SeeD instructor would have epic consequences. No doubt he'd stop Squall from moping about all the time, Zell would cease being an overactive retard, and Selphie would have to shapen up quick as well.

Put Paine in FFVIII as well. Just to see Squall sweat when he meets his female clone. Or put Squall in FFX-2 and see how long he can be around Rikku without going absolutely insane.

FFXIII needs a proper villain...and I'm going to say Sephiroth would be the best bet for this. He can think Orphan is his mother/father and go on a Purge for no adequately explored reason. We'd never notice, given how absolutely shit FFXIII's supposed "story" is. It might even make it better. "Good to see you again...Lightning "

Time to split up the dream team, I think. Put Rosa in FFXIII with the rest of the faceless characters, and bring in Yuna as Cecil's love interest. Give Cecil a woman who is only slightly less meek but actually capable of doing something other than fangirling over him. Tidus can fuck off, he ruined Yuna's character. I think I'd put Wakka in FFXIII as well, to see what happened when he met the guy with the Flaming Afro in Snow's superhero team.

Also, ExDEATH needs to be moved to FFIV, if only so his "Turtle!" line makes sense. "Turtle!" *points to Cagnazzo*

Everyone in FFIX can stay where they are. God knows that game and cast are bad enough. At least the ones in FFXIII have trolling value. At best, I'd move Kuja over to FFVII, so he can freak Cloud out. "Well now! Good to see you again...Cloud "

I'd like to Balthier and Fran over to FFV, just to make things more interesting. Not to mention I think Bartz and Balthier's personalities would clash horrendously and ultimately result in something not unlike an apocalypse. "Normal pirates? HA! We're SKY pirates!"

Move Firion over to FFIV, as well. This is mostly because he's voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, and Cecil is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal. Anyone who watches dubbed anime knows that those two are in EVERYTHING together.

Kimahri being put into FFXIII would be a collossal mindfuck, since that game has absolutely nothing in the way of bizarrely creative vaguely humanoid characters. I can imagine Vanille going crazy over him...

Speaking of...put Yuffie, Selphie and Vanille into FFX-2, to star alongside Rikku. Just to see who is the most hyperactive. My money is on Selphie, personally.

There's a turtle sage in Final Fantasy V who fights with Ex- Death, so the turtle line already makes perfect sense.

I would put Zell in the Final Fantasy 7 world, and Tifa in the Final Fantasy 8 world. I think that Tifa x Squall would make a really cool couple, because Tifa wanted a knight in shinning armour to save her when she was trouble. Or maybe Tifa and Rinoa could form a relationship.

I would drop Zidane in the Final Fantasy 6 world, because then Edgar and Zidane could have a debate about flirting on girls. Or maybe drop Zidane in FF7 since I love Zidane x Tifa thanks to Dissidia.

Terra and Cecil could trade places, terra could be the leader of the Red Wings army and Cecil could be the brain fucked solider. It would be interesting to see what happens.
