I Think... Therefore You Are
To discipline you I mean, there is a lot of difference between actual abuse, as in, beating you to the point you bleed or get broken bones from being spanked or hit with the belt.
Yes, and I resent it
Vote for this if you think what they did was wrong, or if they actually abused you (you can call it abuse if they hit you for no reason, or broke/dislocate your bones or made you bleed)
Yes, but I don’t resent it
They hit you went you misbehave, as part as a disciplinary action, you still love them, and agree with this kind of punishment
No, they never raise their hand on me.
I don’t think I need to say anything more, except that we are talking about physical actions, here if your parents always yelled at you but never hit you, you have to vote for this one.
This was going to be a yes or no question, but since is not a public poll I decided to add the one for abuse. As for myself got disiplinate many times through my childhood when I did bad things, often with the belt, but I don’t resent anything of that, at all, your parents love you and want you to make the right decisions, those were lessons that I won’t forget, and now I’m actually glad that they did it, because they weren’t spoiling me, and that is worse.
