i had gotten ff vii disc 1 and 2 from my friend(he told me without the third disc its worthless, because he was going to sell it on ebay,so i told himm that i would gie him 10 dollars for it,anyhow, back on topic)so,i played througjh both, seriously wish i couldve gone back to the places before without needing the third disc,so i was ithching to know what happens, when it came out on the psn,i blew through the entire game with the same party i always use, cloud, vincent, and nanaki,so,when i reaxhed disc 3,in the pit where you face sephirith,i just said"screw this, imma play pokemon",then never went back to play the game,i just didnt give a rats behind, did anybody else feel this way,or am i just that sort of F*%&'ed up person(censoring what i can because its a forum for all ages, except for the aerti thread, that was nice:))i mean,it just didnt do,the same thing happened within the first 2 hours of ff xii,i actually liked it,but said the same,"screw this, imma play some pokemon",and the same with all the legacy title except iv,which was my favorite 2d rpg of all time, but, are the ff games just that bad, maybe i should play viii-x,i started playing x,then lost my memory card after logging about 23 hours into the game, just didnt feel like playing any more,i heard viii was alright, never heard anyone talk about ix,but,i dont have a playstation,so i cant play it,and my computer sucks too much to rum an emulator, and i cant find a direct download for a psp eboot with out it being in 8 parts per disc, its a pain, well, please, somebody reply

What the hell is the topic at hand here?

1. Not playing FFVII past disc 2
2. Final Fantasy IV
3. If most FF games are 'that bad'
4. How good some of the FF games you've never played are
5. Your computer sucks
6. Trying to find an EBOOT for your PSP

My 1st disc broke kinda froze at the Aps battle...so I didn't even get to the 2nd disc... what a shame...

bakusa, forget the part about me rambling like an idiot, its about getting bored with ff vii when you start the third disc,or,finish the second

Well, you've pretty much almost finished the game after the 2nd disc. All there's really left to do is finish the final dungeon.

I would never stop there. All that work and you don't even fight the final boss! That would bug me knowing i hadn't done the final battles yet, so i would have to go back and do it

Well, once you finish the second disk, you've pretty much finished the game. The story is done and there's nothing left to do but fight Sephiroth and watch the ending (storyline wise anyway).

And to answer the question posed in the thread title, no. I finished Sephiroth off and watched the ending. :monster:

Well, usually,I would fight the final boss, but,in ff vii,I was really hoping to end the game, and just lost interest, maybe you guys are right, that the storys over, and you just have to fight sephiroth, well,I don't know, does anyone else feel this

Don't post if you can't contribute

It's fairly obvious what he is asking considering the thread title, he's clearly just mentioned other things too

Ive quit many times once Ive gotten to the third disk, Ive completed it before , so its not too big a deal, but Id get up to the third disk, then as the prospect of training dawns on me, i just put it down and cba, I used to make it to the bottom of the Northern crater all the time, and could never be arsed leaving again, so Id neglect the training, but I also wouldnt carry on further down either

I hated levelling up, I still do, Id end up putting it down, and not going back to it for ages, then Id move onto another game, pretty mu ch do the same with that, put that down and then think, ima play VII again and this time Il beat it! It's liek a vicious circle. Ive played it more times than I can shake a stick at, but probably only beat it about 6 or so times ¬¬

My most recent playthrough though, I MADE myself beat it

I've done that before. But it was after I beat it the first few times. Once I got to disk 3, I just moved along to another game since I'd already seen the ending and whatnot. I actually think I've only beaten it maybe 3 times out of the countless times I've played it. :wacky:

And leveling up can be a total pain, especially if you're trying to master all your materia. :gonk:

Haha, same here. It would just bother me if I was so close to the final boss, and didn't even TRY beating it. It would make the game feel so incomplete. Tbh, it'd probably seriously start to bug me until I tried at least. XD

after disc 1 i said to my self must give up or u will have no life but i contiued and gave up after the cut movie where aeris gets deaded then my bro fineshed waht i started lol

That made me lol x]

Anyways, rofl, I never realized that quitting so deep into a storyline was an option. You see, I have horrible memory (really REALLY bad) <.> and I know that should I quit there with so many things going on, I won't remember what everyones deal is. Not to mention I pretty addicted

So no, no I didn't quit. Infact I continued training and perfecting for however many more weeks, and then took down Sephy with a perfect game, aside from turtle island posters. Hurray =] Inner item whore was please.
