Can't stand him. Didn't like the attitude, didn't like the way he looked, didn't like the almost 180 degree personality change.

Don't care about his circumstances, or whatever. I find him very annoying from beginning to end.
 
i think that Squall is an overall good character, but i really dont like Rinoa she did seem kinda immature and retarded, but thats my opinion, I otherwise liked Squall but i think that hes cooler in Kingdom Hearts 2 , coller outfit and a cooler attitude but thats my opinion.
 
Of course Squall owns.

He has an awesome Gunblade and a nice scar on his head.

And like sephith said, he's way better in KH games.

Had lots of fun in traverse town :D
 
I liked him. He's my type of guy; the quiet, serious type.

He looks much better in the Kingdom Hearts series, though. Pants were less retarded-looking...xD

You don't really need to flip out because someone has an opinion that you don't agree upon.

Squall was an orphan and so was Quistis, Irvine, Zell (Although he got adopted) and Selphie. Quistis at times broke down but she still kept strong and became a teacher at the age 18. Irvine is a ladies man who is trying to get into a relationship with other women. Irvine broke down as well at one point in the game. Zell, is Zell but he was a lot more positive than Squall. Selphie was always hyper and upbeat.

I'm saying is, just because Squall had such a tough life and him being an orphan and all doesn't mean he should act like a total jerk. I found Squall attitude to be a somewhat selfish compared to the other characters that grew up as orphans.

Sure, Squall did some cool things such as jump out of cars and ran up to Sorceress Edea. (Then again it was his mission to assassinate Edea. ) Squall is basically a character that looks 'cool' and does 'cool' things from time to time.

As for liking Squall, I don't really hate him as a main character. He was alright but he bothered me at times.

Squall in my opinion is the best character from ANY game for any platform. I could relate to him alot, what he said and done. Fair enough he may have been selfish at times, but everyone can be. And he did eventually come round in the end.

He has the best Limit Break by far in any Final Fantasy game, and his weapon is far cooler than anyone elses. He surpassed the likes of Cloud, Zidane and Tidus. I think so anyway.

His relationship with Rinoa i thought was fun to watch, yeah she did seem a bit immature but shes only 17 i think? I got the impression they were perfect for each other from the very start.
 
Sorry Sapphire. He was a chief, was Squall. At first I thought he was a bit meh, because he came across very cold, but as the game/story progressed, I found some of the things he said funny but predictable.
 
Squall was an odd character, but I did like him. Even though Square took a risk at making him relatively quiet for a main character, I think they made it work. He seemed to hate everyone and everything! Even when
he kind of got together with Rinoa, his eyes were still screaming 'I hate you...'
 
i liked squall more than the rest of the players i dont knw y.
mabey it was the way he dressed or his attitude towards members of the group tht i liked:blink:.
i also found tht my squall was much more stronger and a better player than the rest of the group
 
I personally found Squall to be a well developed character. Sometimes I felt like smacking him for some of the stuff he did, but all in all he was an awesome character.
 
Squall was ok, can be kind of bland. But he can also be kind of funny at times. I liked how he so serious when he was explaining to Rinoa about the hot dogs in the cafeteria.
 
No I don't like him, sorry but in my view Squall comes across as a cold hearted jackass for most of the game.
 
Squall was awesome. His limit break was awesome and when at about lvl 30 it did awesome amounts of damage. He was better than tidus and cloud put together:P
 
He is better than every single other character put together.
