This guy is probably one of the toughest bosses you will ever fight in this game. It was designed from the beginning to require a party to beat... but if you beat him by your lonesome, congrats to you. You can find him on Tropical Island.

All I have to say is that the guy is insane. Supposedly a large group is allowed to fight him.

Haven't got to fight him yet, but it'll be a nice challenge when I get there

I reached Sphrom in less than 30 min but I didn't battle him coz he'll beat the shit out of me

Which means the regular monsters will be a lot tougher in the next area.
