Decided to take the game offline

Can't we give them the spells and the levels back? it wouldn't be too hard. I just know alot of people dont wanna do it all over again.

I being one of them. The reward thing sounds like a good idea, but only one person will most likely get a reward. Some of us who can't play every day will never get ahead and will never get a reward, which makes it kind of pointless to start all over.

Yes you would have to level up the spells again if you set everyones stats back and everything, and the attribute points you gain during experience are gone, but most still want their stats and level back. Either way, if you start all over, you still have to level up all your spells, and you start with like 0 attribute points.

I've been playing the RPG for 3 months, and it took me forever to get that far. Sometimes I would spend 5-8 hours a day on it. Recently though, I haven't had that much time to devote to it, and I was only on it for maybe 3 hours a week.

It's pointless for some of us to start all over, just for the rewards thing. I know I can't make it on that much like before, so whats my motivation so start all over when I know I'm not going to make it first for the reward?

When you have members who spend months training in the RPG to get where they are now, it's only fair to get them back there as fast as possible. So what if they have to level up spells, and maybe gain more experience through battles or welding, it would take longer if they had to start all over.

Nope, you cannot give spell levels back.

The more I look at this though. Giving people their levels back would be tedious and to be honest unfair. Since your character would be weaker than it would if it just started over.

Maybe the reward idea should be done like side quests. So everybody gets a special reward. How do you feel about that, Bei Bei?

The side quests for the rewards does sound much better since it gives everyone an equal chance

EDIT:
I thought I read this earlier, but what about that idea about splitting mages and warriors up from the beginning?

-Le sigh- As much as I'd like to play again...(believe me, I really wanted to see this through 'til the end)...I just can't devote any time for it anymore. >.>

But yeah, the rewards being a sidequest would be much better, and I'm thinking you guys should make it more than just one reward. 2 - 3 rewards through sidequests would give more motivation for other members out there who seemed to have lost interest. Who knows? It may pique their interests again if you guys add more stuff early in the game. Your main focus now would be getting back those committed and dedicated players (those who were above level 30) back to playing again.

Shouldn't be a problem with newbies though. I can see that they're glad that the characters got restarted and all, and that's understandable since they can make things right with their character this time around. That and of course, they haven't really gotten that far into the game yet.

But for those who are beyond level 50...you guys have to understand that it's more heart-wrenching for us since we clearly made a lot of time for it. >.> But anyway, it's all cool. Good luck and all - you guys are doing great with this thing. =)

I leveled my character to level 93. I had over 15 spells I maxed. So I know how you feel. Yes, I am a director. But I still had to level my spells and skills like everybody else.

Also, I am planning on several side quests.

I am not sure how I am planning on splitting Mages and Warriors yet. I almost thought about starting a new game again. But we put too much work on this one. Also it was not even halfway through.
