I used to always be up really late into the night as a teenager.

I love the atmosphere of night time. It's cool and quiet and things just seem more exciting then they do in the day. I feel more creative and relaxed and seem to think more clearly.

Even though I can't exactly stay up too late anymore, I still would prefer to be a night person and sleep my day away.
I think I feel this way because daytime has always consisted of some kind of work whether it's housework, schoolwork a job etc and night time is usually meant to be the relaxing time after school/work etc.
My days usually consist of work 5 days a week full time and then night time is to relax and do whatever. Have a drink or two and watch the TV, go out for dinner or to a friends etc.

Though because I have a job during the day of course I am awake during the day and asleep early at night, therefore I can't live my preferred lifestyle. >.<

These holidays though I have been going to bed at like 3am-4am in the morning and sleeping through until 1-2pm in the afternoon. I'm trying to break the habit before work starts next week. xD

So what about you?

Are you a day person or night person?

Would you prefer to be one over the other but can't due to your work schedule etc?

Well being 15 right now, I'm all like, "no Mom, I'm not going to sleep until I want to". I usually stay up until about 3am, and then wake up at 8am. I am most def more of a night person than a day person. I can't stand day light hours. There are way too many people around. I like night because I can do everything I want to do in peace. I can read a book without being distracted and stuff like that. It's just so quiet and calm. I love it. Unfortunately my sleep pays the price. I honestly don't know what'll be once I move out. There won't be any noises to make me say that I hate Daytime. Meh..... Time will tell.

I love the night time.

:jess:

I love how peaceful it becomes late night :ryan:

I don't think I'm meant to be a night person because I like getting things done and most things require it to be daylight :wacky:

My boyfriend is doing overnight atm, so i'm asleep during the day.. :gasp:

I really prefer the night when everyone is asleep...but at the same time I also love to go out on the odd day that it's sunny; whether it's hot or cold. The thing is that I hate mornings and it takes a good few hours for me to really wake up. When I do manage to wake up, I'm normally tired within the next few hours lmao.

So: I hate mornings, like the sunny days and love the nights :monocle:.

Hmm...I'm not sure actually.

I like the aloneness and quietness of nighttime, 'cuz I'll still be surfing the web. With everyone in bed, I can do so peacefully without disturbances. And it's not just the people in the house that can be disturbing, but as you said, the day is when the "To Do" list has to get done.

I do like the day for its sunshine/light, but because of the "To Do", it makes me anxious. When should I do this? When should I do that? For how long? How much and what should I eat? Very stressful things.

And as for morning, though I don't like waking up early morning, when I do I actually do feel refreshed and un-lazy, which is much better and greater than waking up later and feeling lazier because of it. That's me. Yet I can't get myself to get up for some reason...too much. >_>

...I guess that makes me a night person, lol. Cuz then it's RELAX time! And it gets dark and quiet so it puts you in that mood. Plus, sleep! Sleep for increased excitement for the next day! ^_^
