Thought I'd post this as the music forum is dying right now so here goes.

Daft Punk, you heard of them, what do you think? I think they're a pretty good Electronica band IMO, I'm sure I'll get a music nazi correct me with some better electronica band, or do you just get that with Metal and Punk

I digress.

What do you all think?

lollol not to mee! right now am hearin grorillazs dare!

i always enjoyed daft punk...there videos are crazy good

Daft Punk always struck me as somewhat individualistic. Meaning I automatically appreciated them as a working band. Although my tastes have moved on, a few of their songs are still on some playlist of mine. I'll occasionally listen to them, but not as much as they probably deserve.

Good band, overall.

Oh wow, I'm totally in the mood for listening to Technologic right now.

Homework is a very good album (especially Da Funk and Around the World), but Discovery is just one of the best albums I've ever heard (or at the least one of the best of the decade). The first seven or so songs especially are just pure brilliance. Digital Love was the song that got me into Daft Punk.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, they strggled to follow that up and Human After All was largely disappointing for me (recorded in six weeks, and felt like a bit of a rush job) - though even that had some great moments like Technologic and The Brainwasher.

Daft Punk is really good, but the clips are odd, the only clips i really liked were the ones with the blue guys who play music, not the ones with those space suits and shiny guitars and all... but the music was always good, though not my preference
