Crystal theories.

What are your theories, Vanille and Fang became crystals because they finished their focus, they decided to crystallized themselves, what? People seem to have different perspectives, but I think all they did was finish their focus from 500 years ago, well if it's not that then it's the same way they finished their focus Cid Raines did
 
However, it's complete now. So there is no reason for them to be brought back. :hmmm:

Also, on another note, has every thread you've made so far been to assure yourself that there will be a FFXIII-2? It doesn't seem you would need anyone elses opinion but your own for that. :hmmm:
 
So hm if they complete their focus that means that they'll awake eventually, I think that means they will awake.....Try and keep your logic consistent people.
 
Everyone who was crystal was decrystalised when Orphan died, Serah, Dahj, and the rest of the main party obviously, the party being crystalised then decrystalised like five minutes or so later possibly being due to a time period before the effect of Orphan's death to take place. So I'd lay money on it being a different type of crystalisation, else wouldn't of Fang and Vanille decrystalised with the rest of the party?

Either way, I wouldn't absolutely doubt FFXIII-2 happening, just that there is a possibility that Fang and Vanille will not be there.

Or they just finished their real focus unlike before they were held back by Etro, so no you got no clue what you're talking about.

Im just gonna hope that they will come back. I think they will to be honest but I cant say for sure.... Final Fantasy XIII-2 will happen but they better not screw up the story because it was REALLY REALLY good and interesting. Please make new places and not let us tour the whole place like X-2 etc etc. But I have an idea in my head here.... Lightning and co will rebuild Oerba after the Marriage of Snow and Serah. Just me thinking here. Maybe They will do it for Fang and Vanille. Fang And Vanille are really good characters and need to come back but I dont mind Serah replacing one of them as a playable character. As long as she is useful :hmmm:

So you think they will uncrystallize, why is it? Is it because they are only crystallized because they finished their focus, I want to know your logical reason. It seems like if you watch the ending that Ragnarok was shooting crystals, he didn't turn into crystal. Not to mention the crystals are separate?

Im still thinking they did it un purpose, to create the pillar . completly related with the first falcie, anima, that turned the whole lake in cristal, it was the same explosion. I also think that no falcie turned lightning and friends into normal again, fang and vanille did it.

sorry, english is not my first language, I`ll try yo explain it better. the whole group turned to cristal at the end, but then they come back to normal including dahj and serah, everybody except fang and vanille. I think that those two transformed into cristal like the rest, but they found a way to help the others transforming them back to normal, It was not a falcie that turned them back, or the godess, It was fang and vanille.

I really think this " fabulla nova cristallys" title is talking about that, fang and vanille turning into some new kind of cristal, maybe closer to the powers of a falcie, or even turning themselves into a falcie. I make that connection because falcie are part cristals, and the explosion in the first part of the game, when lake bresha is cristallized reflects the creation of the pillar at the end.

thats is what I understood from the ending scene.

I think that the easiest story for FFXIII-2 would be bringing vanille and fang back, and a wedding and all that, but FFXIII theme of sacrifice was fantastic and and a corny ending would ruin it all in the name of fan service, like X-2 did.

according to the ending, they will not wake up, they will live forever watching over this pulse reborn that they caused. but If square decides to launch a sequel where they go back to normal, I guess we can only sit and watch it.
