Are you more of a conservative or liberal? Which party do you agree with more?

This isn't a I'm a republican/democratic thread by the way. Just because your a liberal doesn't mean you have to be democrat.

I'm sorta both, I guess? I'm liberal for the most part, but there are a few things that would be considered conservative.

I really don't see the point of labeling someone conservative or liberal anyway *shrugs*

Eh, I never really thought about it really. There are things I agree with on both sides but I guess I lean more towards Liberal. I don't really label myself either though.

I'm a liberal! Hooray for civil rights, women's rights, and gay rights!

Only conservative view: death penalty.

Definitely liberal. Gays should be able to get married, women can do what they want with their own bodies, church and state should be forever separated and women should be able to do whatever they want in the work force, and not just have people assume their one goal in life is to be a stay at home mom and push out babies.

Whoa, this is generally not a conservative view. There are many conservative women in the workforce who don't just "stay at home and push out babies." The only ones you would see that do have this view are the EXTREME right, which means that they're probably Amish.

As for me, I'm a libertarian. I believe in both social and economic freedom. The government should be as small as possible and should stay out of everyone's social and economic lives.

Oh it generally IS a conservative view if you take Southern Baptists into consideration (or other psycho Christian denominations). They take being conservative to a new level, like it's a sin for a woman to even wear pants...

I'm pretty much a Liberal. I'm not an extreme Liberal though. (Such as the ones at Erythritol's college. x_x)

I am strongly for pro choice, gay rights, and women's rights. I also do value Environment to a certain extent.

Same here.

A little of both really...

Both sides have issues I agree and disagree with. So, I guess that would make me 50/50, although some of my friends and family say I'm a little more liberal than I am conservative...

I'm mainly liberal with stuff, though not to any extremes. I'm for the death penalty like Cerridwen, so that'd be conservative.

And I'm assuming that my "kick mexican immigrants out of the country, set up an electric fence along the border" view is conservative?

Very.

I'm more of a moderate really. My views are practically half liberal half conservative so there's not much of a leeway left and right when it comes to me. I usually stick with the ideas that make more sense or benefit more than the other does, and that's how I base my views.

Hmm that could actually fall into neither Liberal or Conservative. I think most people in the US agree that illegal immigrants need to be sent home to Mexico because they are notorious for crime and people claim that they take American jobs.

Though some conservatives, especially those that run big businesses, see them as an opportunity for cheap labor and will use them to that advantage and pay them less than minimum wage. How do they get away with that? Well if the illegals complain to any kind of law enforcement, the business will just report them as illegals.

Some liberals believe that anyone should be let into the US no matter what and it's against their rights to keep them out. They see it more of a human rights issue.
