Hi guys, this is a little project that I'm doing...actually, it's huge. I'm linking all of the final fantasies together into one giant plot. They don't necessarily go in order (except the X and VII sequels/prequels). I would love your ideas everyone! Please if you have a possible plotline connection between any two final fantasy games, I would love you to post it here. NOTE: By posting your ideas here, that means you have given me permission to use it in my project. But don't worry, I will put your name/nickname in my credits section. PLEASE: Don't post negative things here. People love to tell me that this is a waste of time and there is no way they could be linked...I really don't care for people telling me that, so, please refrain. Cheers.

Ok here's my idea. Ok Have Sephiroth songs(One Winged ANgel and Those Chosen By The Planet) and the boss music playing throughout the whole thing while Sephiroth kills everyone.

That's quite a project... Maybe you could look at the little cameo's and references that are already in the games.

For instance, remember that story in Final Fantasy IX you get to hear when doing that Ramuh quest? It's part of the story of, IIRC, Final Fantasy II. It's like a myth.

An easy way to link different worlds is by taking the lost civilisation approach. Just think of a way to make one world end and build a new world on top of it. Of course, there will be some remains found for the sake of the story (see Final Fantasy II myth). Some of the games already give you an changing world, just look at Final Fantasy VII.

Or you could just go with the Kingdom Hearts approach - the concept of 'worlds'. The Final Fantasy games took place in separate worlds, and, due to the Heartless, the Kingdom Hearts games are what happens when those worlds collide.

My friend had a theory once that FF7 and FF10-2 were connected as they make some refferences to each other.
For example Shinra in 10-2 finding out about "the earths energy".

Good luck with that, I can't think of enough to connect "every" final fantasy together. I would say FF8 and FF9 are closer than some.. and FF1 and FF3 are similar in some ways. FF7 is one in it's own.. Shinra/Materia/Character Stories/Plot line. FF 11 is an online game, so I haven't really played through the whole story there, go to lvl 64 with my blm/whm and quit.

Wasn't there some big theory about how they were connected? I heard about this like two or three years ago at the very least.

link?
