Clan Sites

It might be beneficial to allow the clans to make a site of their own and run it.
Pros.
Less clan chatting posts on FFF.
Clans will have a wider area for talking rather then one topic.

Cons
Less posts on FFF
Some people will become inactive.
Rules may be broken on the clans site.

Ways to fix the cons.
Have a post requirement to stay in a clan.
Require every member in the clan to stay active on FFF.
Require the one member of the FFF staff be an admin on the clan site.

That is my entire argument for it. I hope that this may be added on to the sites rules.

Completely ridiculous idea, in my opinion. What you're essentially suggesting is to abolish the clans from the site, for some unknown reason. If we didn't want them here then we wouldn't have implemented them in the first place. It's almost like saying that we should move the RPG to another site to stop people talking about the RPG on the site.

"Clans will have a wider area in which to post" isn't much of a reason, either. If they needed another forum, then we'd give it to them. Currently, no extra forum is needed for them.

Nah, sorry, I'm 100% against this idea.

I didn't say remove the clans just allow them to have more area to use as they see fit without effecting the site.

I meant it as an option to the clans mainly because a few clans would like to have their own area to be ran by themselves.

The rules state that the sites have to be posted in advertisement section which makes it hard to utilize the clan sites. I am only asking for the rule to be reconsidered.

Well I can't find the rules, but if what you say is true then could a staff member confirm this?

I'm having a great deal of difficulty with understanding what the issue is. Any forum is welcomed in the Advertising Board and, if anyone from the clans felt like doing so, they could make a GFX forum and advertise there if they wished.

I'm with Barack on this one. It just wouldn't really make any sense, to be honest. The clans stay in this forum - both members and staff members are part of it. It really wouldn't do any good to have two related sites at all.

And yes, what Decado said is fine. If you have a site related to GFX or whatever, you can post it in the Advertising Section, and if you wish, you can also link the members who you want to join to that thread in the Advertising Section.
