Help Chocobo's

Firstly, im new to the forum (Not the game) Hi.

And ive heard roumours that it's NOT possible to get Red, White chocobo's At all. I may sound like a noob saying this, But... ive witnessed my Step dad get these, and dark blue chocobo... Is this just luck, or what?

Can someone please explain this abit more, because im confused.

You can't breed anything other than yellow blue green black and gold - Ive never heard of any other colour, could he have had a cheat ...thingy?
 
More colour variations (such as dark blue, white and red) appear in the Chocobo Racing races, but you can never breed one of your own... Not without cheats perhaps anyway.

Perhaps your step dad just showed you a chocobo race that included white, dark blue and red chocobos as well.

As far as I know there is no proper way in the game to get these chocobos.

No, they were in his stables. This is what i'm saying. So many people have said this isnt possible. I'm 21 year's old, don't Lie, and have no reason to. Just saying he DID have them. Black, Gold, White, Red, Dark Blue, Yellow. I Expected people to say it isnt possible... and as far as cheats are concerned, he didnt know how to, and would never use a cheat. Maybe it could of been a glitch, or perhaps Very very lucky?

But im 100% sure he had these... Although it was 5+ years ago now.

No no no it would be all over the web if it was a glitch, cheat, or rare thing. So many people have played the game and know there is only, Yellow, Blue, Green, Black and gold.
 
No-one is saying you are liar. Just that this game doesn't have those chocobos in as breedable creatures.

If your step dad did happen to have these colour chocobos then it is either a super-rare glitch that isn't widely known, or he was using codes.

If it has been 5+ years then it is possible that your memories might have got muddled up. Perhaps he put a bet or something on a chocobo of that colour (I believe you can view the races without controlling the chocobos and can view one of the colour perhaps, not sure though) so that might be where you saw the chocobos of that colour and believed that he owned them.
 
Ill try explain the situation abit more... so hopefully can resolve it.. lol.

Is there Any point in the game, where Different colour chocobo's appear in the STABLES? at the ranch. This is where they were... My memory is fine. If they do appear in the stables at any point during the game, then they was not his.

All i know is, he didnt use no codes, he just used to mess with chocobos, and nuts, and different foods. And used to Save game before breeding, Etc. And thats aparently how he did it... (So he told me). I was not drunk, or High at the time.. And positive, 99.9% they were in the Stables, Coz i remember being jealous.

There are other chocobos at the ranch when you first visit the place, but they are all yellow... and there's a green one inthe chocobo sages stable, but that's about it
 
Well before you are able to breed chocobos of your own the stables are rented out to an unknown person and his own chocobos fill up all the stables.

I can't remember what type of chocobos fill the stables, or if it is random, so I guess it might be that you saw these chocobos and that a few of them were white, red or dark blue, but I'm not sure if even these were that colour. But that might explain how you saw them in the stables, but that your step dad didn't own them.


EDIT - Oh they are all yellow.

Sadly I think the only other possibility would be the chocobo races to where you saw these chocobos.
