Cheeky prank backfires for Queensland men

Three Queensland men who branded each other's buttocks with a hot poker while drunk could end up permanently scarred.

The men were at a barbecue in Toowoomba on the weekend when they decided to brand themselves.

"We thought it would be a good idea to grab the stoker and give ourselves a brand," Luke Moroney told Nine News.

The men were treated by paramedics for second- and third-degree burns.

The friends have since had trouble sitting down and some of the burns are infected.

"It's definitely going to be there for the rest of my life," said Mr Moroney.
