I'm not good at making these news threads, so bear with me.

Source (amongst many others from the past few weeks, but this is the latest)

So I'm sure many of you have seen Charlie Sheen appear as a news topic one time or another recently. He can basically make for a montage worthy video with his quotes. So what are your thoughts about Charlie Sheen's news items?

Just like any major entertainer it's all for publicity. He's a comedian and anything he says should be taken to a grain of salt. I think honestly he was just trying to piss the reporter off. He only has one speed though, tiger's blood, winning.. etc. Sheen has always been the resilient one, and honest I respect him quite a bit. He's ballsy I'll say that, though some people see this as a stupid move by making himself look "insane" honestly, though it's another publicity stunt in the entertainment biz..

Lately, I've loooooooved Charlie Sheen, he's came out with some right quote-worthy stuff. "I am on a drug. It's called Charlie Sheen" xD Epic.

Two and a Half Men is still poo mind, but off that show, he's something special. All this shit that's gone down has done his humour good, tbh. :wacky:

Didn't he get fired from 2 and 1/2 Men recently though. What's he suppose to do now?

To be honest, I never really paid much attention to him before, and even now, I still don't care too much. Celeb or not, he's just another person xD

Honestly, I'm a huge fan of Two and a Half Men. And I will agree with him in the fact that if he's not on the show, it's basically just going to die. I mean, the part Charlie plays is basically a carbon copy of his actual life. He makes a ton of money while barely working (well, I don't consider acting work, but thats just me), drinks a lot, is a womanizer, etc etc. Now who can play Charlie Sheen's life better than Charlie himself? Nobody can. But he has an awful attitude about it in thinking the show is all about him and the supporting cast means nothing. This is very very untrue. They all work great together, and removing any one of them will kill the show, including Charlie himself. So that show is done now because he was fired.

Honestly, like I named the thread, he's losing his mind. We can blame this whole tirade on drugs or we can blame it on arrogance, but I think he's just gotten so far out of touch from reality that its not even about those factors anymore. It's pretty unfortunate too, because he's a really funny guy. His tirade will just kill his Hollywood reputation. We know now that CBS wouldn't tolerate it, but this isn't exactly good advertisement to other stations for another sitcom or even to movie producers, as his attitude could breach an entire multi-million dollar filming effort.

I have to admit though, even though I do believe that he's basically screwed now, his tirades are hilarious. I mean, he's pretty close to Mike Tyson's realm of saying random, stupid shit. But some of the stuff he's saying just makes me laugh so much, even if it is tarnishing his image.

To be honest, I never did watch 2 1/2 men...and I've never really cared for him as an actor.

I don't know what has been happening to Hollywood in general lately either. Between him and Lindsay Lohan...you just wonder.

I've been hearing more about him from the magazines than the news...to be honest. Because the news will give you a brief story and the magazine articles tend to go more into depth. Though I hear about him on the news every night and its starting to irritate me :rage:

Mental illness is a very real problem. ...and when you have an abundance of cash and the ability to spend it anywhere you want, almost without restriction, it is very easy for recurrances of mental illness to recurr if they are left untreated....Because people have easy and unlimited access to the habits that feed into it like alcoholism, drug use, gambling...and possibly prostitution. I really think all of these media stinks are a way of him reaching out and showing that he needs help. Unfortunately, the only way he is going to get it is if he voluntarily commits himself, or if he is a danger to himself or others.

What I don't understand is why they are allowing his two twin boys with Brooke Meuller who are still VERY young to stay with him and his menagerie of porn stars in his home while he is acting that way??? I know Brooke has problems as well, but there has to be someone who is responsible and in a right state of mind to be able to care for those boys...because in my opinion Charlie is mentally and emotionally unstable and a living situation comprised of that is really not appropriate for parenting young children.

I for one am sick of his face.
I don't like him and never have (besides in hot shot and scary movie 4 where he was actually hilarious) I think the best part of 2 and 1/2 men was the kid, Jake and I think the TV show has gone on for long enough, bout time they canceled it or wrapped it up!

I will admit charlie sheen was funny in that Cooking skit he did...maybe he should stick to things like that from now on.

and stop with the Trolls and warlocks!
