Help Character interaction...

Sometimes when frolicing around the field while other characters of the party stand around or move around, you'll see the characters talking/walking/whatever. My question is, do the other characters generally have more than one set series of actions?

You have to listen to them to get what little interaction there is with NPC's on FFXIII.

That being said it is handy to not have to repeatedly press the X button cycling through text boxes, So yeah I pay attention, it has its good and both aspects.
