C e r e a l b o x
It was literally just standing there, teasingly flashing. It kinda makes me wonder if more people are fascinated with how many of us actually touch those boxes. There's fingerprints all over it. It makes me consider wearing gloves. Never know where those hands may have been. It’s kinda weird how it had the same ritual though. Cereal, milk. Cereal, milk.
Always that goddamned milk.
I felt rather stupid when I realized I had been thinking about a cardboard box for more than five minutes, the fact that we were out of milk didn't help. Why was the box on the table if there was no milk? It was just standing there, for no reason.
It's not anymore however.
I knocked it off the table when I got up to head to the store - it was too cocky for my likings.
