celestial mirror

ok so i got the cloudy mirror and found daddy and reunited the family but now the woman wont let me get by to the son and to change the cloudy mirror. am i doing something wrong or did my game glitch?? im pretty ticked off about this for the moment and i cant get any answers other than what i have already done. i cant find anything at all about the woman not letting anyone get past.

Talk to them a few times then head up the shiny pathway, once you reach that sparkly plant thing press X which will change your cloudy mirrior into a celestial mirror. I think once you return to where the family was origanaly they will be gone.

lol hope you know where to find that sparkly plant without my crappy directions XD



unless you mean there blocking the shiny pathway then i have no clue wat happend there.

Maybe you have to wait until a certain point in the game, such as after you get the Airship perminatly. I can't remember if I ever got a Celestial Weapon before that point tbh...

More specifically:

Return the father to where the mother and child were standing - you'll find the child has gone missing. Talk to the father 2 or 3 times, until he mentions that his son has now gone. At this point, travel up the newly opened magical path to your left and continue on until you reach a branching road from the main path. From this point, take the diversion, and there will be the missing kid. 'grats, you'll now have a Celestial Mirror!
