Okay so for some reason the driver for my CD/DVD drive has an issue and will not work. It does not read any CD's or DVD's.

I've tried uninstalling and and reinstalling it and it doesn't ever work.

I've tried to download the driver from the ACER website, but for some reason I can not seem to find the right file.

Does anyone have any helpful sites they can link me to, to download said driver?

Or any suggestions that might fix my problem?

Please don't just say, 'ACER is shit' and that be it. XD

I think this happened to me once and was solved by doing a hard shutdown, disconnecting the power cord from the power supply, then plugging it back in. :S Sounds really stupid but if I remember correctly, it worked for me.

Well, first of all,

What's the Brand and Model of your computer. ACER is it?

I don't know the specific driver that goes with the model you have, so unless I know the model, there's nothing I can really suggest, except getting it looked at by a professional...AND NOT GEEK SQUAD.

Don't ever call them for help and ask them to take a look at your computer, they will only fuck it even more, or worse, clear your HDD of everything.
