I'm sure most of you are aware that Okami has been ported to the Wii. And you've probably seen the gorgeous new box art in Gamestop and shat brix over it. Well, it turns out that Capcom is so lazy they ripped the art from IGN's gallery....and forgot to take out the IGN logo.

They're now offering to send replacement covers to everyone who's purchased the game so far xD

True true, the artwork is still gorgeous and it'd be fun to keep the cover for teh lulz.

They're not automatically sending them out, from what I've heard they're only sending them to those who want them. I'm assuming that means you have to contact them in some form to receive the new covers.

You go to this site to ask for a new cover. They even let you pick from three different ones, all quite stunning

K so apparently they've already closed the redemption period and they're not sending out replacement covers anymore.

They have the three full-sized covers on that site to print off....but of course who wants to print off covers on shitty paper? Yet again, they prove their n00bishness.

I think so. I was at Walmart today and decided to see if they had it...and the IGN watermark is ALOT more visible on the actual cover than it is in that picture I posted

Ah, thanks Suki, I wasn't entirely sure where best this was suited.

I can definitely see why Capcom was freaking out about this. It's hardly noticeable in the pic I posted, maybe 10-20% transparency, but the actual thing was more like 40-50% transparency.

They're beautiful!!

Now, the question is. Why they didn't choose anyone of these as the Wii cover in the first place?? Maybe it's just me, but both are better than the one in the cover.

Or maybe the person behind choosing couldn't make a choice, but couldn't sanction using 3 different covers, but ended up finding a way! Hooray...!...?
